The purpose of this program is to teach students the basics of designing and maintaining webpages for business and personal use through the skills acquired through the various courses specific to this program. Students are required to earn at least a “C” grade in all required courses. Students can earn an associate’s degree through this school’s only web design program with an emphasis on web page, digital/multimedia, and information resources design. Rio Salado College

Rio Salado College gives students the option of earning an associate’s degree or completing any of the five certificate computer technology programs offered. The goal of each program is to help students be prepared in an ever-changing electronic world. Many of the programs can be completed within 18 months for students wishing to work as a network administrator, web developer, programmer, or similar occupation.

Associate in Applied Science in Computer Technology

This degree program is structured to provide instruction and hands-on training within the computer technology field. Skills are specific to a business or home setting with courses ranging from graphical applications and electronic spreadsheets to word processing and computer operating systems. Students must earn a “C” or better to successfully complete the program. The total amount of credits required for this degree is at least 61 with 64 possible.

Certificate of Completion in Computer Usage and Applications
