Students can choose to specialize in one of four areas in the program including Graphic and Multimedia Design, Graphics and Multimedia Management, Web Design and Development, and Web Game Programming. To graduate, students must complete a total of 124 credit hours over the course of 8 full-time semesters. A community college located in Reno, Truckee Meadows has offered classes to students since 1971 and was once known as the Western Nevada Community College. Around 13,000 students attend classes at Truckee Meadows, and the school also has around 500 faculty on staff.
